Each spring, Monterey Peninsula Unified School District schools open their doors to families and the community for one of the most special traditions of the school year, our Spring Open House.

The Early College High School Program gives motivated students the opportunity to earn high school and college credit at the same time, starting in 9th grade - at no cost to families. Through a supportive, structured environment, students take real college courses while receiving the academic and social-emotional support they need to succeed.

The Monterey Peninsula Unified School District Board of Education continues to move forward with its workforce housing initiative. The Board of Education received a presentation on September 9, 2025, from Education Housing Partners on this project.

The Board of Education approved the districtwide school calendars for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years.
