Q: What is the Student Portal?
A. The Student Portal is a feature of the Echo that provides students immediate access to grades, assignments and attendance records in an effort to facilitate and improve communication between home and school.
Q: What can I see on the Student Portal Site?
A: Students can access the following information: grades for current classes, attendance for the past two weeks or the whole term, teachers comments, announcements, calendar.
Q: How do I log-on for the first time?
A: Go to https://shs-mpusd.echo-ntn.org/ or click on the Echol Link on the right. Click the 'Sign in with Google', enter your new google gmail [email protected] (example: [email protected] and password you received from the school. If you have a gmail account already created, you can add student account to your profiles so when you log into portal you will be able to select the student account to log in.
Q: I do not know my student ID and/ or I did not receive my password. How can I receive this information?
A: Seaside High School has a Student/Parent Portal Help Desk. Come to the main office at SHS to receive information and an access code. Please bring identification such as photo ID and/or two forms of residence and identification to ensure that your access code is secure.
Q: When do teachers post their grades / assignments?
A: Teachers will post assignments at the minimum every two weeks. Grades will be posted within two weeks of the Grade due date. See Grading and Communications Board Policies for more information.
