Jordan Unfried

My family and I moved to the Monterey Bay area the summer of 2016.  As mostly new to the area, we are quickly growing to love all that it has to offer: hiking, biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, beach, food, community events, and so much more that we still have left to explore.

I have been married to my wife since 2009, and we are the best of friends.  She continually challenges me to be a better version of myself, and she is one of the most accomplished and driven people I know.  I am also a father of 2, and I adore my kids.  I work really hard to spend as much quality time with them as I can.  They often will accompany me to Seaside High sporting events and other performances, so feel free to say hi if you see us.

On that note, I am crazy about sports!  Football, Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Volleyball, Golf, Track & Field, Hockey, Tennis, Olympics.  You name it and I will most likely be into it.  I don't play sports as much as I used to, but I still enjoy being active when I can.

Music is also a big part of my life.  I own more instruments than I can play, but I do plan to learn all of them at some point in my life.  I have been in bands, I have written and performed in musicals and plays, and I have recorded my own music (mostly as a hobby).

Other hobbies and interests I have: woodworking, traveling, gardening, keeping up with TV shows, getting together with friends, cooking, the occasional drawing or painting, and many other things I have yet to discover.  Here's to life-long learning!
