Message from the Principal

August 2019

Seaside High School Families,

Welcome to the 2019-20 school year. It’s an exciting time at Seaside High School, and it is an honor to serve as your new principal. As you know, Seaside High is a wonderful school with a committed team of teachers and staff serving our students and the community at large. This year we will continue the progress we’ve made and can Expect Great Things for and of our students and staff.

Some of you may already know me as I was formerly the assistant principal at Seaside Middle School. I am eager to reconnect with former students and families on the high school level, as well as learn each and every student’s name and connect with their families. In addition to serving as assistant principal, I also have worked in the district for the past 17 years in multiple roles. It is a privilege to continue serving the Seaside community on a much larger scale, and I look forward to partnering with you this school year.

Transparent communication is critically important to me as I know it is to our families. Our administration, which also includes Assistant Principal Andrew Aguiniga and Assistant Principal Tessa Brown, has an open door policy and we are excited about serving students, staff and families. Moreover, we value our teachers and staff, and are dedicated to working together to ensure our team has a service mindset. We are committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for your student, and welcome your feedback and voice.

This year you can expect regular communication through our ParentSquare system, as well as posted on our website. I will conduct regular Coffee with the Principal forums, and our first one will be held Monday August 19th at 10 am. I would like to invite you to an informal meet and greet where we can discuss the new school year and our collective goals. We will have an additional opportunity during Back to School Night on August 22nd from 5:30 - 7:00 pm.

Thank you for your confidence in Seaside High School. My door is always open and I am excited about serving students, staff and families.

In Service,

Aaron Sanders
Principal
