School News

Homecoming Week

This upcoming week is Homecoming Week! This year's theme of Rise to Olympus will be celebrated all week with theme days, the Homecoming Rally on Wednesday, Homecoming Parade and Football game on Friday, and Homecoming Dance on Saturday. Join us in celebrating Spartan culture!

Family Night on Oct. 19

We invite families to join us for Family Night on October 19th. This is an opportunity for families new to the education system in the United States of America to learn about their student's education in MPUSD. Dinner will be served and teachers and counselors will present to support family learning and provide valuable information in preparation for Parent-Teacher Conferences Oct. 27-29.

Around Campus

Fall Sports Senior Nights

Our Fall Sports are thriving this season! Football and Volleyball are vying to win their league title while Flag Football and Cross Country continue to push to make the postseason. We look forward to celebrating our Senior Student-Athletes starting this week. Join us for the following Senight Night celebrations:

Oct. 20: Flag Football (6:30pm)
Oct. 23: Football, Cheer, and Drumline (festivities begin at 6:30pm)
Oct. 26: Girls Volleyball (6pm)

Fall Intersession a Success

More than 30 students participated in high-impact tutoring during October break. Students received English and Math tutoring by teachers while college students joined classes to support students with their learning. We appreciate our dedicated staff and College and Career partners for supporting students in this work.

Please Take the Youth Truth Survey

We ask for families to take the Youth Truth Survey. This survey helps inform us how to better serve your students and to hear your voice. The survey results will be shared with students, families, and staff and we will use upcoming community meetings to use the data for action planning to inform our school vision.
