Quarter One Food Fair a Success

Our Quarter One Food Fair took place last Wednesday. Clubs raised hundreds of dollars for their organizations and demonstrated leadership to make for a successful event. Thank you to all of our club advisors and students for your hard work!

Fall Sports Continue to Shine

We are roughly halfway through our fall sports season and the Spartans shined thus far. Cross Country performed well at the Toro Park Meet and Flag Football picked up another victory this past week. Girls Volleyball remained tied for first place in the league with their five-set victory over Marina. Football remains undefeated in league play with its win against Pajaro Valley. Go Spartans!

Quarter One Ends & Fall Intersession Starts Monday

We ended Quarter One successfully with students demonstrating their learning with end of unit assessments. As we continue to deepen learning, we hope to provide for multiple opportunities for students to demonstrate their learning.

Starting Monday, October 5 thru Thursday, October 8, 9th and 10th grade students are eligible to sign up for Fall Intersession. Students will receive small group instruction and tutoring to support their English and Math learning.

Around Campus

Field Full of Athletes!

Before break we hosted a Special Olympics for our local elementary schools. Our STEPS Club helped with running soccer games and supported students and staff from around the district to make it a rich, entertaining day.

Andy Gray Honored at Football Game

Late  teacher, coach, and Athletic Director Andy Gray was honored during the football game versus Pajaro Valley. We welcomed the family back to receive a plaque and Spartan gear in celebrating his legacy of over four decades of service at Seaside High School. A memorial for Andy Gray will take place next month and details will be announced.
