Spartans Show Up

At Seaside High School, students are leading the way during Attendance Awareness Month with the Spartans Show Up campaign by encouraging their peers to come to school, stay connected, and make every day matter.

Superintendent PK Diffenbaugh stopped by campus to ask a simple question: Why do YOU show up?

And who better to answer than our Spartans themselves? Four of the students featured in this video are also helping spearhead the Spartans Show Up campaign on campus.

Spartans Soar in Football and Volleyball Victories

Girls Volleyball won at both levels versus Gonzales while the football team beat San José School 26-8! Our Spartans are moving into the regular season for momentum, and-most of all-they are playing hard for each other.

Golden Bell Visit

Seaside High School will be visited by the California School Board Association to highlight MPSUD high schools and their work with Dual Enrollment and Career Technical Education. We look forward to showcasing our programs, especially our exemplary Dual Enrollment program.

Come Celebrate Latinx Heritage Night

Join us for the Second Annual Hispanic Heritage Night on Wednesday, September 16. This family-friendly event will feature student performances, ranging from our Bastoneras to Escencias Nuevas. Additionally, there will be a piñata, free tacos, and tabling at the event hosted by Latino Club.

Seaside Youth Council

What is the Seaside Youth Council?

The Seaside Youth Council brings together students from Seaside schools to make sure young people have a voice in their community. Council members will help shape conversations and decisions that affect Seaside Youth.

What will council members do?

Work with students from across Seaside
Meet and share ideas with leaders from Seaside
Bring student ideas and concerns to the table
Learn and use action research to develop solutions to issues that matter to young people
Represent the voices of their peers
