SHS Student Sworn in as Board of Education Trustee
We are proud to share that Andy Aquino Bernardino was sworn in last week as a fall Student Board of Education Trustee. Congratulations, Andy! Thanks for representing Seaside so well!
Highest Recognition for School Culture
We are proud to share that Seaside High has been recognized with a Platinum Implementation Award for our commitment to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)! This highest recognition celebrates the work of our students and staff to build a positive, supportive school community.
We had a great time connecting with so many families last week during Back to School Night. Our student leaders greeted families and led tours, our community partners shared resources, and student performers shone as they provided entertainment for the evening. We hope folks enjoyed getting to meet our teachers and staff, hearing more about their students' classes, and spending time in community.

Sports in Full Swing
Last week our flag football teams kicked off their season with games against North County, our girls volleyball teams faced off against Gonzales, and our football teams hosted Monte Vista Christian in their home opener with the cheer team on the sidelines brining the Spartan spirit!

Future-Thinking Seniors
Last week seniors and their families gathered in the Makerspace to learn more about post-high school options, including community college, four-year universities, and trade and apprenticeship programs.
The evening was spent helping students and families understand next steps, key deadlines, and available resources to support a successful transition after graduation.
We’re excited to see how you finish your Spartan journey, and where you go next, seniors! Your whole community is behind you, ready to support you with whatever you need along the way.

Return to the Pitch
Saturday night, our Drumline returned to Cardinale Stadium to get the crowd excited for the Monterey Bay FC Back to School Night game!
Despite having very little practice time beforehand, our students shone and made such an impression that Monterey Bay FC has invited them back to play at the rest of the home games this season!
Congratulations, Drumline - we're so proud of all your hard work and dedication!
Coffee's On Us!
Join our admin team this Thursday, September 3 at 8:45 AM for our first Coffee with the Community of the school year. We will be sharing more about our Academies for All program that we launched this year. We hope to see you there!
