Principal’s Message

We only have 14 school days left with three weeks full of events. Our students are shining on their tests, dozens of students are slated to win their Seal of Civic Engagement, and a number of seniors will graduate with some type of honors. 

• Make sure your student attends every day and only is absent if absolutely necessary
• Check your student's grades on ParentVUE; any student who had a "F" has a plan from their teacher about what they can do to improve their grade.
• Everyone gets a list item, list items for everyone!

Senior parents, please check Parent Square regularly because we have senior events every week through the last day of the school year. Let's have an excellent last three weeks of the year!

Head Custodian JP Aviles was nominated as Classified Staff of the Year for Monterey County. Biology and Link Crew teacher Gary Cannon was named Monterey County Teacher of the Year and represented the county at the state competition. Congratulations to our stellar Spartans who bring their best side every day!

Prom was held on Saturday, May 16 and was a success! We had a sold out event at the Elks Club with students enjoying time together, celebrating a great year at Seaside High School.

Join us Monday, May 18 at MPC for Dual Enrollment recognition, Wednesday at the Oldeneyer Center for our Athletics Banquet, and Thursday for our Spring Concert.
