Did you know your student can make up lost instruction time? The Monterey Peninsula Unified School District and Seaside High School presents its Saturday Academy again this school year.
Not only can students make up missed days (or periods) of attendance, they can receive extended learning and support from teachers. This is an excellent opportunity for students to receive additional instruction time and participate in enrichment activities. For those making up missed days, attending one session of Saturday Academy will allow students to make up one full day of absence.
If a student wishes to participate, a parent or guardian must sign a permission slip and submit it to the school prior to the Saturday Academy. (Permission slips will be accepted the morning of Saturday Academy if a student cannot submit it in advance.)
Breakfast is served during Saturday Academies.
